Průzkum amerického internetového serveru The Daily Beast ukázal, že zpěvák Justin Timberlake získal pro charitativní účely v roce 2009 nejvíce.

Zpěvák svou charitativní činností vydělala přes devět milionů amerických dolarů pro nemocné děti v sítích nemocnic Shriners ve Spojených státech amerických.

Hned za ním se dle internetového serveru The Daily Beast umístila zpěvačka Madonna, která pro svou nadaci Raising Malawi foundation získala v roce 2009 přes pět a půl milionu amerických dolarů. Třetí skončila herečka Pamela Andersonová s necelými pěti miliony amerických dolarů získanými pro organizaci bojující za práva zvířat PETA. Top pětku uzavírají moderátorka Oprah Winfreyová se svou organizací Oprah's Angel Network a frontman skupiny U2 Bono Vox s příspěvkem své nadaci One foundation.

Justin Timberlake je americký zpěvák, herec a dvojnásobný držitel prestižní ceny Grammy Awards. Do povědomí posluchačů se dostal jako člen chlapecké skupiny 'N Sync. V roce 2002 vydal své první sólové album nazvané Justified, kterého se celosvětově prodalo více než sedm milionu kopií.
